What Is Wallstreetwhisper?
Wallstreetwhisper was created in 2023 by three guys who have been involved in the public and private markets for over 90 years combined. Between them they’ve taken a few companies public, ran a public company, sat on boards and have raised over $150 million dollars for public and private businesses, and as a side show, have traveled to 50+ countries, hosting investor conferences in more than 15. We’re dedicated to making you a better investor, having some fun along the way and hopefully learning more each day.
What they don’t want you to know
The public and private equity markets unfortunately rely on ignorance and fear. The professionals are just that… professional! It’s always amusing to us that the average retail trader believes they can perform at least as well with their money as the guys who actually trade for a living. Some certainly can, but most just get wrecked, day in and day out. When they finally manage to profit on a trade, they usually give it back as quickly as it came. The “game” is set up this way, to make you think you can beat the house, so to speak. Firms like Robin Hood and others will let you trade “commission free”, sucking in all kinds of young, first-time traders and those that believe they can outperform from their smartphone. The truth is that the professionals have more information than you, they are ruthless and their number one goal is to take ALL of your money from you.
